This post will seem to be out of order as I’ve queued more about Myanmar to come out in the coming days…But, I’ve made it to Bangkok.

This city is way different than I expected. Bigger, dirtier, louder, ‘meh’-ier (I think Myanmar spoiled me).  Maps are clearly not to scale as I’ve walked a bazillion miles in the one day I’ve been here and feel like I didn’t cover any ground at all.

And it’s H-O-T!

But, it’s amazingly cheap. I opted for a bit of street food last night when I arrived and spent $1 on some decent pad thai and a Sprite. Today, I got a tuk-tuk to take me all over town for less than $2 (well, half over town). And, tonight I bought me some hippie pants for $5 a pop.

(Because I need more. Just this morning I sent home ANOTHER box off at the post because I am lugging too much stuff —-Mom, be on the look out? I think I have about 7 coming your way now from all over the place?)

Anyway, I super glued my fingers together trying to fix a shoe so no pictures right now.

More updates to come…you know why? JUSTY and NICOLE are on their way!
